Job Description:
- Incumbent should be thorough in Accounting and Audit procedures.
- Monitoring Statutory Compliance GST, TDS & Income Tax.
- Perform month-end process to properly reflect the Balance Sheet & P&L in SAP and provide variance analysis and do management reporting on monthly basis.
- Audit Planning; coordinate with auditors for timely completion of audit, Preparation of Financial Statement and Notes to Accounts and finalization of Accounts.
- Interacting with external contacts, e.g. Auditors, Solicitors, Bankers and Statutory Organizations for Regulatory & Compliance requirements.
- Compare the financial performance against budget / targets and forecasting activities
- Handle end to end accounting functions in Tally or equivalent tool.
- A logistics accountant has to wrap up financial tasks within a stipulated period of accounting, without failing out on a single aspect even. It is his duty to cross-check all the entries in the various accounting books and financial statements so as to identify any faults or error that might have occurred and also adopt immediate measures to solve the accounting problem.
- Incumbent will directly report to the Vice President of the company.
- Incumbent will be handling a team of around 5 members.
